WHAT WE PROVIDE
The Project Support Department of the Faculty of Science at Masaryk University (OPP PřF MU) is a service unit that offers methodological consultations and assistance, particularly to researchers at the Faculty of Science, during the preparation, negotiation, and implementation of national, international, or internal research projects. Our key activities include, for example:
- monitoring of relevant calls and providing information services
- keeping records of project proposals and implemented projects
- methodological and administrative support for applicants during project preparation
- substantive feedback on project proposals
- cooperation in calculating research projects' budget and subsequent monitoring
- collaboration during audits
PROJECT SUBMISSION
- Project submission is governed by Rector’s Directive No. 6/2016 – Project Management at MU.
- Projects must be registered in ISEP and go through an approval process before the call deadline – this applies to both coordinated and partner projects.
- When planning personnel costs, the Methodological Sheet for Planning Personnel Costs must be followed, and the planned list of project team members must be submitted to the project HR officer no later than 14 days before the proposal deadline.
- Any contracts forming part of the project proposal attachments must be submitted for legal review.
- Specific projects, especially those related to biological or biochemical research, may also require review by the Ethics Committee for Research or consultations regarding intellectual property with the Technology Transfer Office.
