Ceremonial Presentation of Diplomas to Bachelor's Degree Graduates
The faculty beadle will lead the students into the auditorium in a predetermined order accompanied by fanfare.

The representative of the academic department welcomes the attendees and introduces the officials.
The vice-dean presents individual students to the dean according to the list. When called, the named graduate stands up, bows first to the dean, then to the audience, and takes a seat.
This is followed by a speech of the dean, which concludes with instructions to the graduation officer. "And now, by the authority vested in me as dean and on behalf of the rector, I am pleased to authorize the graduates to be declared bachelors upon making a vow. Honorabilis, Mr./Ms. Graduation officer, I ask you to proceed with the commencement proceedings."
The graduation officer initiates the ceremony, which ends with the sentence, "Before I do so, I ask that you make the solemn vow. Please, everyone rise." Officials and all present in the auditorium stand up. Fanfare sounds. The graduation officer reads the vow. After the vow is read, the officials sit down, followed by the audience. The graduation officer addresses the students with the sentence: "Now you will approach the insignia of Masaryk University, affirm the vow, and then I will present you with diplomas bearing the university seal."
The graduation officer steps down from the stage to a table with prepared diplomas. Graduates will approach the insignia one by one without prompting, as they were introduced, and stand before the insignia held by the university beadle. With two fingers of their right hand placed over the insignia and looking at the vice-rector, they loudly pronounce "I promise." The promoter reads the name of the graduate along with the degree from the diploma presented. If a graduate receives a diploma with honors, the graduation officer adds "Passed with honors." Fanfare sounds. The graduation officer reads the name of the graduate along with the title and adds "graduated with honors." Fanfare sounds. After receiving the diploma, graduates with diplomas step onto the stage, lining up facing the audience against the back wall of the stage. Graduates stand side by side in one or two rows according to the instructions of the academic representative.
This is followed by a speech of gratitude from a graduate.

Accompanied by fanfare, the dean and vice-dean congratulate all graduates and leave in the following order: faculty beadle, dean, vice-dean, graduation officer, with graduates following at a slight distance.

The faculty beadle escorts students into the auditorium to the sounds of fanfare, following a predetermined order. The faculty beadle then escorts the dean and vice-dean or vice-deans into the auditorium to the sounds of fanfare.
The university beadle leads the vice-rector into the auditorium with fanfare. This is followed by the Czech and the EU anthem.
The study department representative welcomes the attendees and introduces the sitting officials. The dean/vice-dean introduces, according to the list, individual graduates to the vice-rector. Upon being called, each graduate rises, first bows to the vice-rector, then to the audience, and takes their seat.
The vice-rector delivers a speech, concluding with instructions for the graduation officer: "And now, by the authority vested in my office as rector, I am pleased to grant permission for the graduates to be declared Masters or Engineers after making the vow. Honorable graduation officer, I request you to proceed with the commencement ceremony."
The graduation officer initiates the ceremony, concluding with the statement: "Before doing so, I ask that you make a solemn vow. Please, everyone, rise." Officials and all present in the auditorium stand. Fanfare sounds. The graduation officer reads the vow: “I solemnly promise that even after my graduation, I will remain loyal to the humanist ideas and to Masaryk University and its Faculty of Science, where I have obtained my university education and the academic degree of ‘master’. In all my further activities, I will take into consideration especially the development of education and scientific knowledge for the benefit and profit of all humanity.”. After the reading, officials sit, followed by the audience. The graduation offcer then instructs the graduates: "...Now, you will approach the insignia of Masaryk University, confirm the vow, and then I will present you with diplomas bearing the university seal."
The graduation officer descends from the stage to a table with prepared diplomas, assisted by the university beadle. Graduates individually, without prompting, approach the insignia held by the university beadle. With two fingers of their right hand above the insignia, and looking at the vice-rector, they loudly pronounce "I promise." The graduation officer reads the graduate's name and title from the presented diploma. If the graduate receives a diploma with honors, the graduation officer adds, "Passed with honors." Fanfare sounds. After receiving the diploma, graduates with diplomas step onto the stage, align themselves facing the audience along the back wall of the stage. Graduates line up next to each other in one or two rows, as directed by the department representative.
This is followed by the graduate's thanksgiving speech.

To the sounds of fanfare, the vice-rector and the dean (or vice-dean) go around all graduates, congratulating them and leaving in the following order: university beadle, vice-rector, faculty beadle, dean (or vice-dean), graduation officer, with graduates following at a short distance.
