AI in the introduction to Anthropology (AIAN)

The project aims to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) tools in a systematic, pedagogically grounded, and ethically responsible manner into the bachelor-level course Introduction to Anthropology (Bi1251 Introduction to Anthropology I). Targeting first-year undergraduate students, the project introduces AI both as an object of anthropological inquiry and as a structured support for learning and reflection. Students will engage with AI-generated content through guided exercises that foster critical thinking, conceptual understanding, and awareness of epistemological and ethical limitations. The project results in reusable teaching materials, concrete student activities, and a sustainable model for long-term integration within the course.
