The ELIXIR IMPACT project aims to significantly enhance the use of biological data in artificial intelligence (AI) and address critical challenges in personalized medicine and public health. By establishing a strategic cooperation between the Czech and Swiss ELIXIR nodes, the project will create a robust platform integrating molecular, metabolic and clinical data with state-of-the-art AI technologies. Special emphasis will be placed on the development of methods and tools for data interoperability, secure sharing of sensitive information and the application of AI in clinical and biomedical practice. The successful implementation of the project will strengthen the leading position of the Czech Republic and Switzerland in the European research environment, expand the capacities of both countries for the development and sharing of high-quality data sources and technologies, and offer innovative solutions that will benefit thousands of users in biomedicine.
