The BITE project seeks to explore the demographic, biological, and social dimensions inherent in the urbanization of Brno, as embodied by its cohesive population over a millennium, spanning from the 9th to the 19th centuries. The research design incorporates cutting-edge techniques and state-of-the-art protocols, and leverage a formalized consortium of local scholars and stakeholders to bridge our current knowledge gap on the topic.
