O1. To identify virological, immunological and human genetic risk factors associated with severe flavivirus infections (WP2), with a major focus on West Nile Virus (WNV) and Dengue virus (DENV);
O2. To measure the humoral immune response against viral infections with a strong focus on monoclonal antibody selection and characterization (WP3);
O3. To define the phenotype and functional role of T-cell response in flavivirus infection and pathogenesis (WP4);
O4. To identify and characterize viral-host interaction for the design and synthesis of host-viral protein binding inhibitors (WP5);
O5. To establish the impact of climate changes on flavivirus epidemiology in both human and animal settings for a “One Health” approach of surveillance (WP6).
