The HARP project aims to address gaps in Climate Change Education (CCE) across Europe, promoting a more robust, inclusive and action-oriented approach to tackle the escalating climate crisis. With a central objective to transform CCE into a driver of climate change mitigation, HARP is focused on enabling educators and learners to act as agents of change. HARP intends to provide actionable recommendations that will amplify the impact of CCE and cultivate a climate-literate citizenry, which is crucial for addressing the challenges of climate change.
HARP's primary objective is to enhance partner institutions' capacity for Climate Change Education Research (CCER). HARP's second objective is to establish a network for CCE and CCER collaboration among various European stakeholders. the third objective of HARP is to develop the theoretical framework of CCE.
