The National Centre for Medical Genomics (NCMG) is distributed, fully operating infrastructure of five
Czech laboratories developing and performing research in genomic medicine. Their activities include
implementation and adaptation of novel genomic technologies including generation, analysis,
archiving, sharing and displaying sequence data. Other activities are aimed at the exploration of issues
related to the genetic architecture of various diseases, implementation of genomic technologies into
routine diagnostics, and ethical aspects of genomic research and diagnostics.
Sustainable Development Goals
Masaryk University is committed to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, which aim to improve the conditions and quality of life on our planet by 2030.
