The propounded project comes under history of Czech philosophy thematically. The outcome of this project is to be a monograph about Czech philosophy of inter-war period, resources of intended monograph are analyses of controversies and disputes of philos ophical life of mentioned period In the course of processing of Discussions and Controversies in Czech Philosophy 1918-1939 we agree on the assumption that 1) all-purpose research of Czech society of inter-war Czechoslovak Republic will be up-to-date sch olastic challenge still long time, and 2) philosophy represents unoversightable constituent of cultural life in our national history of that period Surroundings of philosophical life was changed in principle.
