Projekt mezinárodního výzkumného konsorcia klimatologů a vegetačních ekologů se zabývá zpětnými vazbami mezi změnami klimatu a změnami vegetace. Zatímco vlivy klimatické změny na vegetaci jsou prozkoumány relativně dobře a zahrnuty v současných modelech, vlivy změn vegetace (zejména její druhové a funkční diverzity) na regionální klima jsou známy málo. Projekt zkoumá právě tyto zpětné vazby.
