The project aims is a complex UV radiation analysis as related to atmospheric factors (see below) in the region of Antarctic Peninsula. A basis starting point is a spatiotemporal analysis of the total UV, UV-A, UV-B and biologically effective UV-B radiation and their variability at selected Antarctic stations (Marambio, Esperanza, Palmer and Rothera) and the station Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego). The project will continue measurements of UV radiation components and the Czech Antarctic base J. G. Mendel. Similar measurements will be continued at the Vernadsky Station. The UV radiation dependence on astronomical factors, ozone, aerosols and clouds will be on these stations analyzed and modelled by a multiple regression model. Statistic significance will be tested of all atmospheric factors participating in the UV radiation regime variability. Final model of spatiotemporal UV radiation changes developed for the stations J. G. Mendel and Vernadsky will be verified and monitored by help of information obtained from above mentioned 5 stations and confronted with results of another models.
