A little big nanosatellite. GRBAlpha can pick up gamma-ray bursts, though it's a job for bigger machines.

Exactly six months ago, the GRBAlpha nanosatellite successfully detected gamma-ray bursts and mapped particles in low-Earth orbit. Czech scientists are also involved in its mission. Read more in iROZHLAS article (in Czech only).

Vladimír Šindelář studied at the University of Chemical Technology in Prague, where he obtained  his  PhD at the  Department   of Polymers. He completed postdoctoral internships  at  Heriot -Watt University ,  Great Britain ,  and the University of Miami, USA. Since 2005 he has been working at our faculty.
