The 32-page colour brochure serves as a first introduction to the entire Faculty. It is presented in the form of concise, readable texts and striking full-page pictures with captions. Individual sections of the brochure link to the website with detailed information using QR codes. The publication is printed on recycled paper.
The clear identification with the SCI MUNI brand is underlined by the simple graphic design in the uniform visual style of our university. A number of beautiful, new photographs of both campuses were taken for the brochure. Many thanks to the students who helped us with the photography and to all those who contributed to the brochure.
The pages of the institutes present the topic of science and research in detail.
The opening pages introduce the city of Brno and Masaryk University. The following pages present our faculty as a modern research and educational institution and a great place to study and work. There is also information about research, teaching and cooperation with secondary schools as well as graduates' employment. While the Czech brochure provides information on study abroad opportunities, the English version provides basic information for those interested in studying or working abroad.
Each institute, BIOSKOP, the Botanical Garden, the Central Library, the Institute of Earth Physics and the J. G. Mendel Czech Scientific Station in Antarctica have their own page in the brochure. In addition, individual pages can be easily used by institutes and departments to create their own leaflets. This is how several institutes have already created sheets for applicants, which have served well in the promotion of the Open Day.
The Czech brochure includes a fact sheet with all study programmes in Czech. It has also been published separately and serves as a separate marketing material.
You can also find the brochures in pdf form with active links on the faculty website here. If you are interested in receiving a brochure, please contact the Office of External Relations and Communications at pr@sci.muni.cz.
