Dean's barbecue postponed to 26 September
As a result of the flood emergency and the postponement of the start of classes, we also postponed the Dean's Grill by one week.
Since the coronavirus pandemic hit, scientists around the world have been trying to understand this insidious pathogen. Despite more than a year of hard research, however, countless questions still remain unanswered. Czech experts are among those looking for much-needed answers, including the Brno biologist Omar Šerý, who works at our Faculty of Science. As a result of the flood emergency and the postponement of the start of classes, we also postponed the Dean's Grill by one week.
The Dean has decided that if a student cannot attend classes because of the floods or is involved in efforts to deal with the damages will be automatically excused. Should the situation continue past the first week of classes, students should contact the Students’ office for individual consultation.
