Dean's barbecue postponed to 26 September
As a result of the flood emergency and the postponement of the start of classes, we also postponed the Dean's Grill by one week.
Academic and non-academic staff of Masaryk University can go on an up two-week teaching or training placement at a foreign university outside the European Union through the following two programmes, which we would like to draw your attention to.
Global Staff Mobility
Suitable for all stays of up to 14 days (including travel days) at a university in any destination in the world. Pre-acceptance letter issued by the host university is a prerequisite – therefore, you need to contact the foreign university in advance. The next application deadline is 31 July for stays from 15 September = now is the ideal time to start arranging your placement.
It is also possible to apply for a stay in the European Union (if they cannot be done through the standard Erasmus+ programme).
More information can be found here.
Erasmus+ ICM
Another non-European project that allows you to travel abroad for training or teaching. Unlike GSM, there is a pre-defined list of universities from which you can choose. The list of project partner universities changes every year depending on the approved project and will be updated soon for the following application round.
The application deadline is 15 December, and it is also necessary to contact the institution in advance.
More information can be found here.
More offers can be found on the CIC website, or do not hesitate to contact any of the CIC colleagues or the International Office of the Faculty of Science.
As a result of the flood emergency and the postponement of the start of classes, we also postponed the Dean's Grill by one week.
