On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, we were part of the Faculty Day at the Matyáš Lerch Gymnasium in Brno. A total of eight of our students from various departments of the Faculty of Science shared their experiences with their studies and introduced high school students to what university life at our faculty looks like. Students from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, the Department of Botany and Zoology, the Department of Experimental Biology, the Department of Biochemistry and the Department of Plasma Physics and Technology participated in the event.
The event addressed senior students, who had the opportunity to ask questions, discuss and obtain authentic information directly from those who are currently going through university studies. Personal experiences often play a key role in deciding on their next course of study.
Many thanks go to Vice-Dean Markéta Munzarová for her personal involvement and time dedicated to students, as well as to Vice-Dean Pavel Lízal for his inspiring presentations about studying at the Faculty of Science, Masaryk University.
