According to experts from the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University, extreme drought is prevailing in several domestic regions. The situation is worst in the south-eastern part of Moravia, where many streams have already dried up. The new Dry Rivers app is designed to monitor the water levels in these streams. Anyone can upload a photo of a stream. The information will then be used by scientists who plan to use it to create a special map. For more details, please watch Events in the Regions.
