AKTION Czech Republic - Austria
AKTION Czech Republic - Austria is a programme to promote bilateral collaboration in science and education between the Czech Republic and Austria. This is a joint programme run by the Ministries of Education of the two countries.
The projects are submitted both by a Czech and an Austrian partner. The duration of the project usually does not exceed one year.
Types of supported activities:
- Projects aimed at long-term cooperation
- Joint scientific events for students, such as seminars or field trips
- Joint bilateral scientific events such as symposia, expert meetings and workshops
- Preparatory phase for programmes that award double degrees
- Research trips to obtain scientific data
- Financial support for the publication of outputs from completed projects
- Summer colleges, i.e. summer language courses in Czech or German
- Specialised summer schools based on different scientific disciplines
- Academic exchanges for the purpose of carrying out educational events under the master’s and doctoral study programmes of the host institution.
The closest deadline for submitting project proposals is 15. 9. 2021 (for the period of implementation between 15.10.2021 and 31.12.2021).
Please, be aware that the project proposals are sent collectively for the whole university. Therefore it is necessary to send the proposal to the Centre for International Cooperation MU by the 9 September 2021.

Note: The deadline for sumbitting proposals with the implementation period between 1. 1. – 31. 12. 2022 will be 31. 10. 2021.
