Developmental opportunities for PhD students are introduced in this section. The following pages are prepared in English, however some tips and events may be available at the moment only in Czech (noted directly in the text).

At the Faculty of Science, enrolled students gain excellent scientific knowledge and training in research. However, to succeed in a challenging job market, you shall also focus on transferrable skills that will help you to perform successfully your future roles such as researcher, colleague, supervisor, team manager, grant negotiator...

Therefore, the enhancement of your skills is one of the key elements for a successful research career that starts with your decision to enrol in doctoral studies. Supporting PhD students as early stage researchers (R1) is also an important part of the Faculty HRS4R's new people strategy implementation.
