Botanical Garden

The Botanical Garden of the Faculty of Science at Masaryk University, located in the Veveří district of Brno, has been serving both the academic community and the general public for over a hundred years. It currently maintains a collection comprising over 4,000 plant taxa, situated in the outdoor area and in the recently renovated greenhouses.

The garden is open all year round. The outdoor displays are freely accessible during opening hours. To enter the greenhouses, ring the bell at the entrance beneath the spiral staircase, where you will also find a map of the garden. You will find labels next to the plants and information boards at each display. In the greenhouses, there are also audio panels with commentary in Czech and English.
